Hope everyone is keeping safe at home. Here are some website links to some amazing at home games you can do with your children that will build on the skills we have been developing in class. If you have any questions of concerns please don't hesitate to contact myself or any of the Foundation Team.

Spring 2- On the Move
This term we are looking at vehicles and different types of transport. The children will be meeting a real life mechanic who will talk about his job and the parts of a car. They will also have their very own role play car wash outside created by the wonderful Mrs Russling. We will be labelling car parts, designing our own vehicles and doing scientific investigations all about the speed of vehicles and what affects the speed.
Autumn 2 Term- Far, Far Away
This term we have been looking at traditional tales. The children have loved looking at the good and bad characters in the stories and have created some incredible pieces of work based on their learning (you can see these in the photos below). We have been learning the story of Hansel and Gretel using talk for writing so don't be surprised if the children come home acting out the story to you.
We are making fantastic progress with our Phase 1 and Phase 2 phonics so make sure you are working on the letters sounds and blending at home as much as you can Caterpillars. Keep up your hard work

This term our Learning Journey is
"How am I a Super Hero?"
We will be getting to know each other and exploring life at school, and what we are good at through all seven areas of the curriculum. Every Monday the weekly planning is posted on the Parents’ Notice Board by the red doors. If you have any further queries about the curriculum, please speak to a member of staff.
