We would like to welcome you to the Anston Hillcrest Primary School website.
The website is intended to be a source of information for parents and pupils about the school.
If you feel that it could be improved in any way, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We are a friendly, happy and successful school, set in extensive grounds in the scenic village of South Anston. We cater for children aged 3 - 11 and currently have 247 children including those who attend part time. Our Foundation Unit provides an important stepping stone between nursery education and full time school, for children aged between 3 and 5. The school also has a Speech and Language Unit for pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2, which caters for pupils across Rotherham borough who have specific needs.
We have a busy and enthusiastic learning environment where there is always much to do, see and learn. We strive to make sure everyone at our school feel valued and part of our school community. Developing the whole child is important to us and that aim is reflected in all we do. We are proud of the achievements of our children and we aim to help every child develop self confidence and a positive approach to life whilst achieving their own individual potential.
We aim to 'Make a Difference' to our pupils and instill in them, a desire to 'Make a Difference' to others.
Please make an appointment to come in and see what life is like at Anston Hillcrest.
