Snow Day Information - 9th January 2026

School Opening

School will be open today, however due to the adverse weather parents may drop off their children at 09:15 to allow ample time for us to ensure the site is safe and to allow safe travel for families. Breakfast Club will for today be open from 08:00

School is scheduled to end at the usual time and all clubs/WAC sessions are presently running. We will update parents via text and e-mail should anything change.

Safety on Site

Please take extra care when driving or walking to school. The roads and pavements on the streets surrounding the school may not have been gritted and they are very icy. Once on site please do not allow your children to run and please ensure everyone keeps to the cleared and gritted paths rather than walking on the snow or ice. There may be patches of 'black ice' which are difficult to see.

Pleasure ensure children all have warm clothes and suitable footwear for the icy conditions

School Closure

Should it be necessary to close the site for safety reasons your child can access home learning materials on Spelling Shed, TT Rockstars (see your child's class webpage for links) and tasks in their Learning Log.
