The Local Governing Body (LGB) here at Anston Hillcrest plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of education, supporting the school’s vision, and holding leadership to account. Comprising of individuals from a range of backgrounds, including parents, staff, and members of the local community, our LGB work collaboratively to set strategic direction and ensure the school is inclusive, safe, and focused on high-quality outcomes for all children. By meeting regularly and engaging with various aspects of school life, our local board of governors are dedicated to ensuring a positive, enriching environment for every child to thrive and succeed.
Message from our Chair of Governors - Gail Foster
As Chair of the Governing Board at Anston Hillcrest Primary, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience which I dedicate to our school community. My passion is to ensure that every child reaches their potential.
Whilst working closely with the leadership team to drive strategic priorities, my aim is to maintain high standards and champion both an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Alongside the other members of the LGB, we provide both a commitment and collaborative approach to help strengthen our schools vision and impact.

Should you wish to make contact with any of the LGB , please do so by contacting the school office.
