First Week of Year 1

A flashback to our first week in Year 1. During our first week, we focussed on getting settled into the new routine and exploring our new classroom. In English, we have read ‘The Ugly Duckling’ and worked hard to find the capital letter, full stops and finger spaces along with writing dictated sentences too! In Maths, we have explored the Maths equipment and being able to count accurately. Our Dimensions topic is Happily Ever After and we have been thinking about the fairy stories we have heard of and questions we might have too! It was busy! We finished the week by winning values champion and won some trim trail time! A fabulous start to Year 1!
